Emer has always been passionate about helping others achieve success, as a community member, an advocate, or a coach. As a professional coach she has the opportunity to do that every single day.

In 2011 Emer began exercising her adaptability and curiosity as she took on roles that interested her within her organization. As lead on a rapid improvement process, her curiosity was piqued. Being curious is at the heart of the coaching profession. Fast forward to 2021—Emer had a coaching conversation with her mentor. She realized it was time to make a shift, to live and work authentically doing what she loves. In 2022 she earned the designation of CEC, Graduate Certificate, Executive Coaching Program at Royal Roads University. The same year she earned her ACC credential, Associate Certified Coach, from the International Coaching Federation.

Emer makes her home in the small off-grid community of Savary Island, British Columbia. She serves her community as a member of Senate, and past Trustee Chair for the Improvement District, as a member of the Savary Island Land Trust, and by supporting volunteer efforts to recycle ocean debris. She also serves as a volunteer coach for an incredible organization, Up With Women.

​She is passionate about maintaining balance and appreciation in her life. When she's not coaching leaders and dreamers you can find her in gumboots on the beach, looking for what is hiding within clay, or out on the Salish Sea.
